Description

RFID based door control:

RFID stands for Radio Frequency IDentification is a non-contact technology widely used in many industries for tasks such as personnel tracking, access control, supply chain management, books tracking in libraries, tollgate systems and so on. This used to track the movement of objects within a particular distance.

Working:

RFID reader has two parts, the transponder, and the reader. If the tag or transponder read by the reader, then the access will be granted. The door opened by Stepper motor. The tag has a unique ID that has to be stored in the reader. The master tag has to set initially and then the system is in normal mode. If we scan an unknown tag, the access denied. First, we have to scan this tag and then store the Id.

This reader has a radio frequency module, a control unit and an antenna coil which generates a high-frequency electromagnetic field. The tag is a passive component, which consists of just an antenna and an electronic microchip, so when it gets near the electromagnetic field of the transceiver, due to induction, a voltage generated in its antenna coil and this voltage serves as power for the microchip. The data verified in terms of binary values(0,1).
